Jordan Michael McCalmont | Founder/Principal
As the founder and principal of JMD, Jordan leads the creative direction of the office and oversees a wide range of projects, from multifamily amenities and clinics, to retail and hospitality. He has over fifteen years of experience in interior design and construction, with a strong grasp of both the latest trends and timeless design concepts. He takes a friendly, consultative approach to interior design, and prides himself in adhering to the client’s time and budget goals, as well as project quality.
When not at the office, Jordan enjoys spending time with friends and family, traveling, and enjoying the Austin outdoors with his dog, Buck.
Jack Lozano, AIA | Architect
Jack worked at several architectural firms before joining Jordan Michael Design in 2018, bringing with him architectural expertise and spatial knowledge. Along with managing projects and lending a creative hand to the company, Jack also utilizes his digital skills to create renderings of our visions, as well as drafting construction documents and assisting with graphic design. Jack is a registered architect in Texas and has a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
Julia Bustard | Director of Operations
Julia has been with Jordan Michael Design since February 2020 after moving to Austin from New York City. As our Director of Operations, Julia works with all of the team members to make sure the projects are running smoothly by coordinating installs, managing budgets, and working with the vendors to make sure all products are arriving on time, correctly, and in good condition. Julia has a Bachelor of Science degree from Louisiana State University.
Isaac Garcia | Construction Project Manager
Isaac has led Jordan Michael Design’s construction department since 2023. He brings to JMD a strong background in construction after managing projects for several previous general contractors. Isaac supervises our job sites, maintains project schedules, and develops cost estimates and project budgets. When not at the office or in the field, Isaac enjoys spending time with his wife and children.
Elizabeth Townsend | Designer/ Purchasing Manager
Elizabeth brings a variety of experience to JMD from previous architecture, interior design, and furniture dealership positions. She has worked in Atlanta, Chicago, Kentucky and Los Angeles prior to landing in Austin. Elizabeth provides purchasing and installation coordination to support the JMD design team. She graduated from the University of Kentucky, has NCIDQ certification and enjoys outdoor activities and creative endeavors.
Paul Rahier | Site Superintendent
Paul is our construction superintendent and has over a decade of experience in the industry. Paul oversees project execution, which involves managing teams, resolving issues, and liaising with clients and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with family, exploring the outdoors, and indulging in hobbies like landscaping and woodworking, channeling his passion for craftsmanship into personal projects.
